22/06/2026: Dion To Bake Some Brighton Cash
08:40 Brighton – Dion Baker
There are not many stronger profiles on the board this morning than Dion Baker, who has once again attracted the type of early support that has previously been associated with success.
The gelding is a Repeat Winner Signal, with today’s early contraction from 4.50 into 3.00 comfortably exceeding the horse’s historical trigger level of 27.7%, reaching 33.3%. More importantly, the support has been widespread across 31 bookmakers, suggesting this is not simply a single-firm anomaly.
This is a horse with a very solid Market Form profile. Previous qualifying moves have produced two winners from two attempts, with both runs resulting in a first or second placing. The most recent occurrence came at Bath earlier this month when the market support was again rewarded with victory.
Although the horse has eased slightly since 10am and trades around 4.00, the important work had already been done during the early exchanges, with the market showing intent at a level that has previously proved significant.
Michael Wigham’s yard continues to operate respectably, showing a positive return on investment, while Darragh Keenan takes over in the saddle.
DC Network View: The profile is difficult to ignore. Historical market behaviour has repeated once again and, while nothing is guaranteed in this game, the evidence suggests Dion Baker has done enough to warrant serious respect.
